This is a rant of state of the comic, to jump directly to the art, scroll to the bottom.

People, sorry for yet another late update. I've been keeping this to myself way too long but now I really need to get it out of my chest. I am under a lot of stress, just a bit more than a month from completing my last semester. To graduate I need to complete a thesis paper of a length and girth of a formal research paper. By various aggravating circumstances (internship, family issues, personal issues), <b>I have near to nothing written</b> I got to get down to it... or... well I really have no other choice but to get down to it, graduating is crucial to get somewhere in the job market.

(And yes I am aware that a diploma is the last thing an art director would ask of an illustrator, yet I'd rather think these 5 years invested in college were worth something.)

In the meantime I am NOT putting the comic on hiatus. I'm picking up things that should've been done a long while ago.

One, doing filler comics. Those were fun, and took the edge whenever bad things happened or pages were too complex to finish in a night.

Two, redesigning and updating the site. I want it to be easier on the eyes, and also flesh it into a more professional looking site if that's possible.

Three, I am not unaware how important is to keep Discordia's uniqueness and particular taste, so hear me I am not set on the tablet inked look of the previous week. I agree it's too smooth and looks lifeless in comparison (nell's face in wednesday's being the worst case scenario). So what I'm doing? Well I'm looking into things that could be worked into, better ways to give discordia's original organic look a professional edge. I full know you can do print worthy stuff with pencil alone, yes I mean piro and I'm sure he's not the only one. Thing is it takes time, something I'm short of at the moment, yet when I graduate (I gotta believe I will) well I will have more time in the ensuing jobhunt, so better defined pencil work is an option I'm looking into.

Another is the use of ink, either by brush (pictured), dip pen (not pictured, but tried) or ballpoint pen (pictured) so it is up in the air.

So in the following month or so (deadline for the thesis: july 15) I will post on comic days either art, fillers and at least once a week, story updates, which will be noted 2 days before.
